Our Mission
NB Buns is dedicated to providing a platform geared towards young adults and future bunny owners looking for comprehensive information on bunny care.
Our online store offers a variety of bunny products, while our rescue locations maps feature reputable rescues near you, and 'How To's', and guides ensure that your bunny's needs are always met.
We prioritise accessible bunny care advice and offer natural bunny treats to raise awareness about neglect and abandonment issues, striving to create a more compassionate and informed bunny owner community.
Our Story
The first plans for NB Buns began back in 2024 as _____ the founder of NB Buns, began to think about what she was passionate about for her HSC major work. Immediately, her two rescue bunnies, Nutsy and Blinky, came to mind. From here, the inklings of NB Buns began to be formed - an organisation that produces cute products targeted at the most common bunny owner demographic, young women, to encourage them to visit our website and learn more about proper bunny care. The name NB Buns is simultaneously derived from the founder's bunnies' initials, and from the Latin term 'nota bene', translating to 'note well', which emphasises our goal.
The goal of our website is to make the information easily digestible and accessible to encourage all users to pursue proper education on bunny care to work against the cycle of bunny abandonment and neglect due to improper care or unexpected workload of taking care of a bunny. Additionally, products would be able to raise awareness for Australian rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
So, over the course of a little under a year, this website, shop, and products were formed, becoming the NB Buns of today.
